B-side of Ross' road trip mixtape
Flip the tape to the B-Side. Side A was about a year ago. Here's the rest of Ross'roadtrip mix, digitally translated of course. Well, it's been a year since Ross set out for his cross-country journey. He floated around from Minnesota to Montana to the pacific coast and now he lives in LA. He's even got a job!
Here's looking at you, Ross. Cheers!

FACEBOOK WALL mix
i spend a lot of time on facebook. im fascinated by it and what it shows us about our society. anyway, besides my business' & my dogs fan pages, my facebook is all about music. i treat my wall like a music blog, constantly littering the feed with links to grooveshark and some youtube.
anyway, this here playlist is composed of some of the songs that i've posted on my FB wall in the past two months...give a listen.

disposable night in the east village
andrew milne & myself are good buds and one night we decided the east village was ours to barhop around and meander through while documenting with a disposable camera. we got together around 11pm and made a point to meet people, dance, walk around, drink and finish the roll of film that night. the next day i had some 4x6's printed at a 1-hr developer. most of them are shown here.

THERE YOU ARE!! a degenerate journal
this degenerate journal has been a long-time in the making.
back in 2008, i wrote and sent a call-for-entries to my friends & cohorts asking them to contribute travel stories & doodles & anything creative that could be printed. responses slowly trickled in and then i sort of lost motivation.
anyway, here we are in 2011...on the fourth of july...and i want to free this journal from my shackles and unveil this project to the public {or at least to "friends of friends"}
keep in mind...this journal is compiled of entries from folks in their mid-20's...thus acting as a kind of literary time capsule for our generation and specifically for my friends...I know I will look back longingly at these years when i revisit this journal in decades to come.

SIDE A of ross' ROADTRIP MIX: the youtube translation
a few months ago i made this mixtape for ross' cross country journey. i'm glad it saw him safely through his travels, but to be honest, i wish i could still listen to the gift that i sent him off with...
so i'm doing my best to recreate the mixtape with corresponding videos. some of them are official videos, while others are homemade videos. some are just the album cover and song.
and i even had to resort to yahoo mp3 streaming for the last track. apparently, fuzzy mountain string band didn't leave much in the way of video archives..
YAAAHHOOOOO!

COLLEGE COLLAGESCANS
TRIBUTE TO MY COLLEGE YEARS...these are scans of scattered photos that mostly live in a box on my shelf...now with this cyber resurrection each of those pictures takes on a new context, part of a bigger picture.
